A set of SIX Limoges plates for Moules (Mussels) with a huge dish for serving them. Each one has a different, classic, French, recipe for Moules ,, who doesn't love the famous French Classic "Moules à la Marinière"?
This set is very collectible and an ideal gift for Seafood Chefs or for anyone who loves French cuisine.
They are all marked "Sofafils, Porcelaine" on the undersides.
The plates measure 18cms/ 7" diameter. The serving bowl is deep sided to hold a stack of mussels easily, keeping lots of the cooking juice/sauce in the bottom. It measures 29cms/ 11½" diameter x 5cms/ 2¼*" deep.
All in amazing condition with no chips or cracks. There is a small amount of "wear" to the letter "L" on "La Rochelaise" plate; apart from that there is nothing whatsoever to detract from the beauty or functionality of these beautiful plates.
