A set of six copper pans with iron handles. Ideal for hanging above large country kitchen fireplaces or from rustic beams in converted barn kitchens these pans are the ultimate farmhouse styling accessories. They have a genuine, authentic patina from "by-gone" times and ooze style.
These pans are deep and heavy, weighing 6.3kgs/ 13.9 lbs altogether. The saucepans are all marked "Made in France" near the handles, the skillet pan has the number "22" embossed into the side.
I've not tried to clean them up, as I love the vintage, "aged to perfection" look that the tarnished copper has for authenticity. You can see from the photos that the pans are in a great vintage condition. They have no major dents, the smallest pan has a, barely detectable, slightly mis-shaped edge. The linings are worn and scratched, consistent with use, which enhances their "rustic charm". The copper is tarnished, with signs of verdigris in the grooves and indentions, for that "aged to perfection" vintage copper style.
The Skillet/Sauté pan measures 22cms/ 8¾" diameter and is 7.5cms/ 3" deep (44.5cms/ 16" long to the handle.) The largest saucepan measures 20.5cms / 8" diameter and is 10cms/ 4" deep (42cms/ 16½" long to the handle.) Second pan is 18.5cms/ 7¼" diameter and is 9cms/ 3½" deep (38.5cms/ 15¼" long to the handle.) Third pan is 16.5cms/ 6½" diameter and is 8cms/ 3¼" deep (33cms/ 13" long to the handle.) Fourth Pan is 14.5cms/ 5¾" diameter and is 7cms/ 2¾" deep (29.5cms/ 11½" long to the handle.) Smallest pan is 12cms/ 4¾" diameter and is 6cms/ 2¼" deep (24.5cms/ 9½" long to the handle.)
