This is a set of eight mismatched floral transferware plates. A one-off curated collection, perfect for displaying on a wall, country cottage dresser or for weddings and vintage tea parties.
Each plate pattern is different, each is equally as lovely. They all have "gilt" edging.
You will receive exactly this set of plates.
There are two dinner plates, measuring 24cms/ 9½" diameter. One has a delicate spray of roses and gypsophilia by "Lunéville Keller & Guérin" it is from the "Bagatelle" range. The other is from the "Chinon" range by Gien, France.
Two medium dinner plates, measuring 23.5cms/ 9¼" diameter. One is marked "Limoges porcelain", the other has a wide, sky blue border and is by "Lunéville Keller & Guérin."
One large bowl, with a beautiful dark blue border, by St. Amandinoise, measuring 22cms/ 8 ½" diameter x 3.5cms/ 1 ¼" deep.
One bowl from the "Marguerite" range by St. Amandinoise, measuring 24cms/ 9½" diameter x 3.5cms/ 1 ¼" deep.
One tea/side plate measuring 19cms/ 7½" diameter.
One small Limoges Porcelain dish, measuring 13cms/ 5" diameter x 2.5cms/ 1" deep, marked "Limoges, Dallas, France."
They are all in amazing condition. The gilding on all the plates is in wonderful condition. They have no chips. They do have the beginnings of ageing 'hairline crackle' to the glazes, which is to be expected with the age of these plates and is desirable for that 'antique' look and feel, adding to their charm and essential for authenticity when styling.
