There are ten different designs on the ten plates (each design has pairs of Wild Boar, Hares, Deer, Pheasant, Grouse, Snipe and Duck, illustrated in their natural habitats.) The colours and details of the illustrations are incredibly accurate and realistic. Beautiful Landscapes, in an autumnal palette that is timelessly elegant. All these plates are French, dating from the 1920's to the 1980's. They all have "gilt" edge borders.

The stack is made up of:
One huge platter, measuring 32.5cms/ 12¾" diameter x 4cms/ 1½" deep. Three bowls, measuring 23cms/9" diameter x 3.5cms/ 1¼" deep. Six dinner plates measuring 23-24cms/ 9"- 9½" diameter.
They are all in excellent condition, with no chips or cracks. Aesthetically pleasing to the eye. They may have the faintest wear to the gilding and motifs, consistent with their age and use, and the faintest beginnings of "hairline crackle" to the glazes, which is to be expected with the age of these plates, and in no way detracts from the beauty or quality of this beautiful plate stack. They have many years of service yet to offer.
