This is a set of six gorgeous Limoges porcelain seafood plates with gilt edges. The perfect gift for seafood lovers!
Each plate measures 25cms/ 9¾" diameter and weighs 400gms/14ozs. They are in perfect condition, with no chips, cracks or scratches. They all have the 'De Saint Eloi, Limoges, France' porcelain mark on the underside.
These plates are illustrated with classic mid century designs. Each one has a beautifully detailed illustration, showing a different shellfish alongside the individual ingredients of each dish, such as colorful slices of lemon, parsley, garlic, peppers and onions. The designs are: Les Coquilles (Scallops), Le Homard (Lobster), Les Crevettes (Prawns), Le Crabe (Crab), La Langouste (Langoustine) and Les Huitres (Oysters.)
