This set of six French vintage fish plates are the perfect gift for anyone who enjoys fishing or cooking fish dishes. An ideal gift for fish chefs.
The plates are in a square design, softened at the edges. They all have a gold "gilded" edge pattern trim and measure 22.5cms/ 8¾". They each weigh 350gms/ 12¼ozs. There are six different, stunningly vibrant and dynamic, designs illustrating various fish swimming amongst reeds. Most impressive is the way the "water" has been "brushed" across the fish to give the impression of their movement through the river.
They are all in amazing, excellent condition, with no chips, scratches or cracks. All have the "S.F.P, Société Française de Porcelaine" mark on the undersides. They have many years of service yet to offer.
