Explication de Evagiles des Dimanches, Tome Seconde (1807 Edition)
Génie du Christianisme, ou Beautés de la Religion Chrétienne, Tome Premier and Tome Seconde. Françoise-Auguste de Chateaubriand (1837 Editions)

Condition:
Just one peek at the pages of these books will tell you their age. The typeface and print ooze style and authenticity. The pages are fluffy and soft, scuffed with genuine distress, discoloration and have a time-worn quality that only few books possess.
One book has lost half of it's spine, so the paper is revealed.
All are perfectly readable but some of the pages are loose and there may be one or two missing pages. They need to be handled with respect for their age and condition.
These books would make an excellent gift for anyone with an enthusiasm for antiquarian books.
As some of these are prayer and devotional books they would also make a thoughtful gift for those dedicated to the catholic religion.

Most importantly they have that "old book smell" reminiscent of libraries and bookshops from a by-gone era - fabulously comforting.

Please ask for more photos or information, should you have any further questions about their condition.

Difficult to part with, I think this is one of my favourite looking book stacks of all time!
