A French, tin, "Mouli" herb grinder. An amazing kitchen utensil, that will grind any herb. Simple to use, just put a handful of fresh herbs (parsley, coriander, basil, thyme, mint etc.) in the top, turn the handle, and the grinding teeth will chop them into fine minced herbs, ready for your salads or your fresh pasta. The funnel has a clip, that lifts the top, to allow you to remove the "spikes" for cleaning and then "clip" them back in again!
Made in France, it has the word "Mouli" on the front. In excellent vintage condition, in full working order, it is perfect for vintage kitchen displays and food photography props. A wonderful eco-friendly, no electricity or batteries, old-fashioned kitchen utensil that is gentle with the herbs, grating them slowly to retain the maximum goodness.
It measures 18.5cms/ 7¼" long x 7cms/ 2¾" deep. It weighs 140gms/ 5ozs.
