A small, lined, hand-hammered, French copper milk/butter/chocolate pan with the "Fabrication Française", mark near the handle. It has a pouring lip on one side. It has a genuine, authentic patina from "by-gone" times and oozes style. This pan is tall, giving it "swirling" capacity, allowing the cook to move the melted liquid around quickly and without the risk of splashing. Perfect for melting, where lots of movement is required to prevent burning. There are no dents at all and the lining is in good condition, with minimal "wear". I've not tried to clean it up, as I love the vintage, "aged to perfection" look that the slightly tarnished copper has for authenticity. It has many years of service yet to offer. It measures 10cms/ 4" diameter at the base and is 10.7cms/ 4¼" diameter, to the lip, it is 8.2cms/ 3¼" deep, 21cms/ 8" long, to the handle. It weighs 400gms/ 14ozs.
