This is a very rare set of French Seafood Starter Bowls from the late 1970's by the Famous Charles Amand Seafood Company.
They vary slightly from each other, and are individually "spray" painted so no two are exactly the same. They have a fabulous "Prawn /Salmon" pink and cream coloured glaze and are in the shape of scallop shells.
These are very collectible pieces and ideal for collectors of all kitsch kitchen ceramics.
They are all in excellent, vintage condition. One dish has a small graze on the underside of the rim, it is not viewable from the top (see photo). The rest have with no chips or cracks.
Some are slightly bigger than others, they measure approx. 16cms/ 6 ¼" long x 11cms/ 4¼" wide x 3cms/ 1" deep.
